EcoSphere Intelligence started from a simple observation: environmental assessments are rebuilt by hand on every project, and the reasoning behind them is scattered across documents nobody can trace.

Why we built it

Assessment work deserves a proper record

Screening, scoping, impact assessment and the commitments that follow consent all depend on the same facts: the site, the receptors, the regulations and the evidence. In most firms those facts are copied between spreadsheets, chapter templates and email threads, and the link between a conclusion and its basis is lost.

We are building the platform we wanted on our own projects. It captures the project once, proposes what the regulations require, and keeps every decision connected to the evidence behind it. Practitioners stay in charge of every judgement; the platform does the reading, cross-referencing and checking.

We are an early-stage company, headquartered in ireland, working with a UK environmental consultancy on a live pilot.

Co-founder, domain lead

Senior environmental compliance, HSE and ESIA specialist with more than 20 years of international experience across energy, infrastructure and transport projects in the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia and the Pacific.

Damien leads the domain logic behind the platform: how screening, scoping, impact assessment, mitigation, obligations, evidence, QA and report assembly are delivered in practice.

Ciaran Finnegan

Co-founder, technology lead

Technology leader with more than 25 years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud architecture and enterprise systems, including time as a Chief Information Security Officer.

Ciaran leads the platform's architecture: cloud infrastructure, governance controls, knowledge graph design and the compliance workflow engine.

How we work

Three principles

    AI reads, proposes and drafts. A named professional accepts or changes every judgement that goes into an assessment.

  2. Show the basis

    If a record cannot point to its source, regulation or method, it is not finished.

  3. Treat client data as a liability

    Collect only what the work needs, separate it properly, and be able to show who touched it.
