Environmental impact assessment software

Every EIA judgement, traced to its source.

One governed record for each project, from screening and scoping to the Environmental Statement and the commitments that follow consent. Every constraint, scope decision and commitment links back to the evidence and regulation behind it.

Site & constraints map showing a project boundary over designated sites, ancient woodland and heritage features, with a layer panel listing SPA, SAC, Ramsar and SSSI counts.

How the record is built

Four questions, answered once and kept

The platform captures project context once and builds the assessment record in the order a practitioner works through it.

  1. 01

What the project is and where it operates

    Project context

    • Jurisdiction and consent route
    • Location, scale and activities
    • Designations and receptors around the site
    Site & constraints
  2. 02

    What applies to the project

    Requirements and standards

    • Laws, regulations and guidance
    • Permit and consent conditions
    • Lender requirements
    Screening & scoping
  3. 03

What the project could affect, and how

    Assessment logic

    • Impact pathways and receptors
    • Significance and mitigation
    • Evidence and assumptions
    Environmental Statement
  4. 04

What needs to be tracked, checked and reported

    Compliance outputs

    • Commitments and conditions
    • Consultation responses
    • Review checks and delivery
    Assessment registers

Explainable by design

Every judgement shows its working

AI reads, extracts and drafts. Your specialists decide. The platform keeps the link between each decision and what it rests on, so the people who review your work can follow it.

Commitments

Each commitment keeps the sentence it came from

Commitments are extracted from your chapters with the chapter, page and quoted text, then given an owner, a phase and a status. A reviewer can check any one of them against its source in seconds.

Commitments register showing mitigation and management commitments, each with its source chapter, page number and quoted text.

Significance

Significance resolved from your method, not typed in

Residual significance comes from the sensitivity and magnitude matrix your methodology defines. The matrix sits in the chapter, so a reviewer can see how each result was reached.

Environmental Statement editor showing a significance matrix of receptor sensitivity against magnitude of change, with section status, guidance and outstanding checks.

Scope

Scope decisions with their reasons attached

The platform proposes a scope from the consent route and project facts. Your specialists confirm or override each topic, and the evidence questions that remain open are listed before the scope can be finalised.

Scoping topics table showing each environmental topic with a recommendation, open evidence questions and the recorded scope decision.

One record, seven stages

From setup to post-consent monitoring

Each project moves through the same lifecycle. The platform shows what each stage still needs and turns it into work your team can pick up.

  1. 01SetupProject context, consent route, jurisdiction and team.
  2. 02DocumentsReports, plans and GIS data ingested and searchable.
  3. 03ScreeningThe EIA determination, recorded with its regulation.
  4. 04ScopingTopics scoped in or out, each with its evidence basis.
  5. 05Impact assessmentSignificance resolved from the method, not by hand.
  6. 06Submission & decisionApplication documents assembled and checked.
  7. 07Post-consent monitoringCommitments and conditions tracked to evidence.

Who it's for

For the people who write, inherit and review assessments

  • Environmental consultancies

Deliver assessments faster without losing the audit trail your reviewers expect.

    • Constraints from the boundaryScan the boundary and get a register with distances and zones of influence.
    • Scope with its basisEach topic decision keeps the regulation and evidence behind it.
    • Commitments traced to sourceEvery commitment carries its chapter, page and quoted text.
    • Chapters checked before reviewDraft from approved sources and clear the outstanding checks section by section.

Security

Built by a former CISO for client project data

Consultancies trust us with their clients' documents and site data. The platform was designed around that from the first line of infrastructure code.

How we protect your data

  • Hosted in LondonWorkspace data, database and files run on AWS in eu-west-2.
  • Separated at the databasePostgreSQL row-level security keeps each customer's records apart.
  • Your sign-inSingle sign-on with Microsoft Entra ID, Okta or Google, so your MFA policy applies.
